IT Movie
Campaign Objective :
Warner Bros. Canada wanted an activation that would create a strong social and viral impact for their highly-anticipated IT movie.
Strategy :
Using the likeness of one of the main characters we created over 40 floating Georgie’s using mannequins that would be strategically placed throughout the city of Toronto as part of the #WheresGeorgieTo campaign. Our team surprised thousands of early morning Toronto commuters with floating Georgie’s above sewers and branded merch to promote the upcoming release. Warner Bros Canada’s partner agency YMIBC ran the social component.
Results :
- #WheresGeorgieTo was trending #2 on X (formerly Twitter) on the activation day
- #WheresGeorgieTO was picked up by major media outlets across Canada
- IT Movie was the #1 movie in Canada
